Little Angels Trust in partnership with Nestle’ Ghana Limited

Little Angels Trust has in the past few years organised an Annual ‘Christmas Party of Hope’ for all the children at the Korle Bu Children’s Block; and also the Psychiatric Hospital Children’s ward to interact and cheer them up in the Christmas spirit.

This year’s ‘Christmas Party of Hope’ will be extraordinary!!!

Friends of LAT, Nestle Ghana is throwing their weight behind this worthy event and has already started much needed refurbishments of the whole Children’s block of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, starting from the oncology ward’s leaking roof, and all the other three admission wards including outpatients on the ground floor.  They are also installing six 42inch Plasma TVs (2 on each of the 3 floors) to ensure that the children are mentally stimulated while recovering.

The Christmas party on Saturday 18th December 2010, which will begin at 11am, will also be attended by Ghanaian Mega stars like the Legendary Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and the iconic Wanlove the Kubolor (African Gipsy).
Refreshment will be by courtesy of Nestle’ Ghana Limited and Coca-Cola Ghana.

As the excitement builds up to the day of the party, it will be a day to remember indeed for both young and old, nurses or doctors, volunteers or security staff at the hospital.  It is with such pride that we announce our ‘partnership’ with Nestle’ Ghana.  Little Angels Trust believes that joy and happiness are every child’s right, regardless of their socio-economic position in life; and as such our vision is to bring tons of joy to suffering children.

Nestle’ Ghana has made this possible at this time of the year when most people make merry and forget about the suffering of others.

Little Angels Trust and Nestle Ghana share the belief that a happy child has a quicker response to treatment and as such Healthy Children do make a Healthier Nation in the future.  In promoting a good life, Nestle’ doesn’t only look at Nutrition but creates shared value for the communities in which it operates.

These are the same children who will be our future presidents, doctors, lawyers, nurses and possibly employees of Nestle’ Ghana.  This fine legacy is what any nation can hope for and Little Angels Trust will honour the trust Nestle Ghana has placed in us.

We (LAT) will promote good health in good faith and will continue to seek that seriously sick and terminally ill children are happy, healthy and live in dignity.
